About the Role

The successful candidate will be part of a close-knit team committed to providing a high standard of veterinary care. The clinic sees a wide variety of cases, including a significant number of ophthalmology cases and second-opinion work. With experienced clinical coaches on hand, this is an ideal opportunity for a newly qualified RVN ready to take the next step in their career.

The team consists of two vets and a full support staff, working together in a well-equipped clinic led by experienced branch partners who foster a welcoming and collaborative atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care and client support.
  • Assist with surgeries and procedures, including pre- and post-operative care.
  • Conduct nurse-led appointments and Schedule 3 activities.
  • Monitor and care for patients, ensuring high welfare standards.
  • Manage admissions and discharges in coordination with the veterinary team.
  • Dispense and check medications accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, practice, and operational standards.
  • Engage and coordinate the team to support the effective running of the practice.
Requirements
  • RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.
  • A passion for delivering outstanding patient and client care.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Experience in conducting nurse consults and supporting clinic efficiency.
  • Strong communication and coaching skills to support colleagues.
