Job Description

Our client is an award-winning veterinary practice dedicated to excellence in animal care and team well-being. Established in 1980, the practice has grown into a network of 20 state-of-the-art clinics across various regions. They are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive team within an innovative and thriving practice.

The successful candidate will join a dedicated team, working alongside vets, RVNs, ACAs, and receptionists. As part of their progressive and passionate team, the candidate will be encouraged to use their full range of skills while contributing to a wide variety of nursing tasks. They will also have the opportunity to grow professionally, with mentorship from experienced nurses and career development options, including specialised roles and leadership positions.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality inpatient care, radiography, anaesthesia, and conduct nurse clinics.
  • Engage in training and development through mentorship and internal CPD programmes.
  • Participate in a balanced working rota without out-of-hours or on-call duties.
  • Work collaboratively within the team to ensure best practices and animal care standards.
  • Contribute to fostering a positive and supportive team environment.

Requirements

  • Qualified and registered as a Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with relevant experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A commitment to animal welfare and professional growth.
  • Enthusiasm for using and developing a full range of veterinary nursing skills.
  • Ability to work well within a team and take initiative when needed.
