Job Description
A leading veterinary group is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join a supportive and award-winning team. The successful candidate will join a well-established team of vets, RVNs, animal care assistants, and reception staff, contributing to excellent patient care and client service. They will be encouraged to utilise their full skillset across all aspects of nursing, from inpatient care and anaesthesia to nurse-led clinics. Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care across all areas, including inpatient care, radiography, anaesthesia, and nurse clinics
- Work a 40-hour week, including 1 in 4 Saturdays and 1 in 12 daytime weekends
- No out-of-hours or on-call duties required
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary clinical team
- Participate in in-house training and ongoing professional development
Requirements
- Registered with the Veterinary Council of Ireland (VCI)
- Previous experience in small animal practice preferred
- Strong clinical nursing skills and effective communication abilities
- A proactive, enthusiastic team player
- Willingness to undertake continuous professional training
Benefits
- Competitive salary: €30,000 – €38,000, depending on experience
