Job Description

Ready to take your nursing career somewhere inspiring? RVNs don’t just work in this practice—they thrive. This is an award-winning, independent veterinary group with a team that feels more like family and a culture that puts growth and well-being first.

Join a large, dynamic nursing team where every day brings variety, learning, and support. Whether you’re newly qualified or an experienced RVN, you’ll have the freedom to explore your clinical interests, develop specialist skills, and grow your career in a practice that champions progression.

Responsibilities

Here’s what life as an RVN in this role looks like:

  • Rotate across hospital, theatre, and consultations for a diverse caseload.
  • Run your own nurse-led clinics with opportunities in laser therapy, rehabilitation, and more.
  • Work alongside and learn from highly skilled colleagues across all areas of nursing.
  • Option to mentor student nurses and support the next generation.
  • Take part in a fair and well-structured OOH rota, giving you balance as well as variety.

Requirements

They are looking for someone who brings:

  • RCVS registration and a passion for delivering exceptional care.
  • Confidence in GP nursing, with enthusiasm for learning and development.
  • A team-player attitude-they support each other, always.
  • Flexibility to work within a supportive but varied rota.

Benefits

They know great teams deserve great rewards:

  • Salary: £33,000–£36,000 DOE, plus paid overtime & lieu time scheme.
  • CPD & progression: Fully funded CPD, certificates encouraged, RCVS & VDS fees covered.
  • Work-life balance: Most RVNs work a four-day week (3x10h + 1x8h shifts).
  • Well-being: Optional private healthcare, 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme, company pension.
  • Perks: Discounted vet fees, free Lifetime Care Club membership, cycle-to-work scheme, discounted gym membership.
  • Culture: A genuinely supportive, award-winning team that celebrates success and makes work enjoyable.
  • Community & social: Dog walks, wild swims, pub trips, creative socials and yes, free drinks when they sponsor the local beer festival!

If you’re ready to join a team where RVNs are valued, supported, and inspired every day, we’d love to hear from you.
