You will enjoy a varied caseload, including opportunities to work with wildlife, and will be encouraged to follow your clinical interests – certificates and additional training are fully supported.

  • Rotate through a variety of duties, following cases to build relationships and see positive outcomes
  • Assist the veterinary team with diagnostic procedures and inpatient care
  • Support and mentor student nurses, helping them progress in their training
  • Contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the practice and collaborate closely with colleagues

  • Confident in all aspects of nursing, with a proactive and positive attitude
  • Good communication skills and a team-focused mindset
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate care

Benefits

  • Salary from £31,000, dependent on experience
  • Welcome bonus of £1,000 (to assist with relocation costs if needed)
  • 4-day working week with a fixed day off, or 5 shorter days if preferred
  • Only 1 in 7 Saturday mornings (9 am – 12 pm), with no nights, Sundays, or bank holidays
  • 5 weeks’ holiday plus bank holidays
  • Professional fees paid (RCVS, VDS, BVNA)
  • Generous CPD budget with certificate funding encouraged
  • Private health insurance and Employee Assistance Programme
  • Pension scheme
  • A supportive team that values work-life balance and celebrates success together
