Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Deliver outstanding care to patients and clients at every interaction

  • Support with surgeries and procedures, including pre- and post-operative care

  • Carry out nurse-led appointments and Schedule 3 activities

  • Monitor and care for patients throughout their stay

  • Manage admissions and discharges under veterinary guidance

  • Dispense and check medications accurately

  • Ensure professional excellence by following regulatory and practice standards

  • Help co-ordinate the team and contribute to the smooth running of the practice

Requirements

  • RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse qualification

  • Experience in providing high-quality patient and client care

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

  • Confidence in running nurse consults and understanding their impact on practice performance

  • Ability to support, coach, and positively influence colleagues
