Job Description
An exciting opportunity awaits for a passionate and dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a friendly, supportive, and well-equipped small animal practice.
Our client is a multi-vet practice with a loyal client base and a varied caseload. The clinic is equipped with modern facilities, including digital X-ray, dental suite, ultrasound, multiparametric monitor, and a full in-house laboratory. This is the perfect role for a nurse who enjoys working in a close-knit team where collaboration and compassion are at the heart of everything they do.
The successful candidate will join a busy, community-focused practice that values work-life balance and professional growth. This part-time position offers four days per week with no weekends or out-of-hours requirements, allowing you to enjoy both your career and personal time.

Key Responsibilities

Provide exceptional care to patients and clients at all times.

Support the veterinary team with surgical and medical procedures, including pre- and post-operative care.

Conduct nurse-led consultations and Schedule 3 activities.

Deliver inpatient monitoring and nursing care to a high clinical standard.

Manage patient admissions and discharges as directed by the veterinary team.

Dispense and check prescribed medication accurately.

Ensure professional excellence by adhering to regulatory and operational standards.

Participate in team briefings and contribute to a positive, collaborative workplace culture.
About You

RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse.

A passion for providing outstanding patient and client care.

Confident working both independently and as part of a team.

Experience in nurse consults and an understanding of how they contribute to practice success.

Excellent communication, organisational, and teamwork skills.

A positive, proactive approach and commitment to continuous learning.
