An exciting opportunity awaits for a passionate and dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a friendly, supportive, and well-equipped small animal practice.

Our client is a multi-vet practice with a loyal client base and a varied caseload. The clinic is equipped with modern facilities, including digital X-ray, dental suite, ultrasound, multiparametric monitor, and a full in-house laboratory. The successful candidate will join a busy, community-focused practice that values work-life balance and professional growth. This part-time position offers four days per week with no weekends or out-of-hours requirements, allowing you to enjoy both your career and personal time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional care to patients and clients at all times.

  • Support the veterinary team with surgical and medical procedures, including pre- and post-operative care.

  • Conduct nurse-led consultations and Schedule 3 activities.

  • Deliver inpatient monitoring and nursing care to a high clinical standard.

  • Manage patient admissions and discharges as directed by the veterinary team.

  • Dispense and check prescribed medication accurately.

  • Ensure professional excellence by adhering to regulatory and operational standards.

  • Participate in team briefings and contribute to a positive, collaborative workplace culture.

About You

  • RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse.

  • A passion for providing outstanding patient and client care.

  • Confident working both independently and as part of a team.

  • Experience in nurse consults and an understanding of how they contribute to practice success.

  • Excellent communication, organisational, and teamwork skills.

  • A positive, proactive approach and commitment to continuous learning.
