Job Description

Our client is an independent, forward-thinking veterinary practice based in a purpose-built hospital. They provide the highest standard of care for small animals in a professional yet friendly environment. With modern facilities and a dedicated team, they are looking for a motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join them and help grow their services, including orthopaedics and care for exotic patients.

Responsibilities

As an RVN, you will:

  • Provide compassionate care to all patients and support their owners.

  • Assist with surgical procedures and anaesthesia.

  • Conduct nurse-led consultations and participate in clinical projects.

  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety, and infection control throughout the hospital.

  • Collaborate with vets, nurses, and the wider team to provide seamless care.

  • Engage in continuous professional development and learning opportunities.


Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • RVN qualification and registration.

  • Experience in small animal nursing, with confidence across core skills.

  • Enthusiasm for learning, taking on new projects, and expanding clinical skills.

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.

  • A proactive, compassionate, and professional approach to patient care.
