As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you’ll be a key member of the clinical team, working closely with veterinarians and fellow nurses to deliver exceptional patient care and outstanding client experiences.

Responsibilities

Clinical Excellence & Patient Care

• Deliver the highest standards of clinical nursing care to all patients

• Understand, follow, and help uphold all clinical practice protocols

• Stay informed of new communications, policies, and procedures

• Participate in the nurse consult rota and contribute to client education

Daily Clinical Duties

• Conduct screening procedures, including auscultation and sample collection

• Monitor general anaesthesia and maintain accurate clinical records

• Administer treatments as directed by veterinarians

• Record clear, accurate, and comprehensive clinical notes

• Assist veterinarians during invasive and non-invasive procedures

• Respond promptly and compassionately to unsettled or distressed animals

Practice & Team Support

• Maintain excellent hygiene standards across clinical areas and equipment

• Monitor and maintain clinical stock levels

• Support and educate pet owners on routine and specialised care

• Provide cover at other sites when required

Requirements

We are looking for someone who is caring, proactive, and thrives in a team-focused environment.

Essential:

• Registered Veterinary Nurse qualification (or equivalent)

• Demonstrable experience as a Veterinary Nurse

• Nurse consulting experience

• Competence in general anaesthetic monitoring and surgical protocols

• Strong understanding of infection control and quarantining procedures

• Experience using Practice Management Systems

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently when needed
