As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you’ll be a key member of the clinical team, working closely with veterinarians and fellow nurses to deliver exceptional patient care and outstanding client experiences.

Responsibilities
Clinical Excellence & Patient Care

Deliver the highest standards of clinical nursing care to all patients

Understand, follow, and help uphold all clinical practice protocols

Stay informed of new communications, policies, and procedures
-
Participate in the nurse consult rota and contribute to client education
Daily Clinical Duties
-
Conduct screening procedures, including auscultation and sample collection
-
Monitor general anaesthesia and maintain accurate clinical records
-
Administer treatments as directed by veterinarians
-
Record clear, accurate, and comprehensive clinical notes
-
Assist veterinarians during invasive and non-invasive procedures
-
Respond promptly and compassionately to unsettled or distressed animals
Practice & Team Support

Maintain excellent hygiene standards across clinical areas and equipment
-
Monitor and maintain clinical stock levels
-
Support and educate pet owners on routine and specialised care
-
Provide cover at other sites when required
Requirements
We are looking for someone who is caring, proactive, and thrives in a team-focused environment.
Essential:
-
Registered Veterinary Nurse qualification (or equivalent)
-
Demonstrable experience as a Veterinary Nurse
-
Nurse consulting experience
-
Competence in general anaesthetic monitoring and surgical protocols

Strong understanding of infection control and quarantining procedures
-
Experience using Practice Management Systems
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-
Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently when needed
