Join our client, a well-equipped veterinary practice located within Pets at Home on Banbury Cross Retail Park. We’re proud of our RCVS Practice Standards accreditation and Silver ISFM cat-friendly status. Our team includes 4 vets, 3 RVNs, 2 SVN’s, and 3 receptionists, supported by owner Lois Wakelin, who founded the practice in 2015 after qualifying from Liverpool in 2012.

You’ll enjoy a flexible full-time role (40 hours per week), with options for 4 days with a weekday off or 5 days with shifts from 8:45 am to 7:15 pm. Weekend duties are just 1 in 4 with no out-of-hours commitments. Our practice offers advanced facilities such as digital X-ray, ultrasound, a full lab, and a dedicated surgical theatre with comprehensive anaesthetic monitoring.

We seek an experienced and proactive Registered Veterinary Nurse who values high standards of patient care and teamwork. In return, we offer a competitive salary up to £31,000, a contributory pension scheme, paid RCVS fees, CPD allowance, and exclusive company discounts.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care including anaesthesia monitoring, inpatient care, and nurse-led consultations.
• Support orthopaedic surgeries and complex medical cases.
• Run productive nurse clinics and contribute to extending these services.

Requirements:

• Qualified and registered veterinary nurse.
• Strong clinical skills and excellent communication abilities.
• A proactive approach and interest in further professional development.
