Their modern surgery features state-of-the-art equipment, including digital and dental X-ray, ultrasound, VGels, and Multiparameters.

Our client’s excellent facilities enable their clinical team to deliver veterinary care with a dedicated focus on high clinical standards. Their nurses are veterinary professionals, ensuring they fulfil their clinical potential.

They have a team of talented Client Care Advisors to support the client journey, freeing up their Nurses to carry out their roles effectively and enabling them to lead and manage nurse clinics and perform schedule 3 procedures.

Their training practice has a nursing team of five; one HVN, one RVNS, one SVN, and two VCAs, supported by a team of Receptionists and a Practice Manager.

 

The Role:

First opinion nurse duties include monitoring anaesthetics, inpatient care, nurse consults, ordering, and assisting with procedures. They have visiting orthopaedic and ultrasonography specialists, offering opportunities to assist with these cases. They pride themselves on offering a healthy work-life balance, with flexible hours and shift patterns to suit the successful candidate.

This is a Full-Time Position working 40 hours per week – There will be no OOHs or on-call duties. A Saturday rota will be included on a 1 in 4 basis, shared between the team.

 

The Candidate:

They are looking for a motivated individual with a positive attitude. The candidate must work well independently and as part of a team within their busy practice. They require excellent communication skills and a dedication to delivering clinical excellence. Experience as a clinical coach/supervisor would be advantageous, though not essential.
