Job Description

Our client is seeking a full-time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their established practice. This role is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to deliver exceptional care, going beyond consultations to listen, empathise, and prioritise patients and clients.

The successful candidate will join a professional, personable team and contribute to various projects aimed at enhancing patient care and client satisfaction. They will be working with a dedicated team of vets and RVNs in a practice equipped with modern facilities.

 

Responsibilities

  • Consistently deliver exceptional care to clients.
  • Support with surgeries and procedures, completing all pre and post-procedure activities.
  • Conduct nurse-led appointments and Schedule 3 activities.
  • Deliver patient monitoring and care.
  • Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the veterinary team.
  • Complete patient transfers to out-of-hours or enhanced care.
  • Dispense and check medication.
  • Deliver professional excellence, complying with all regulatory, practice, and operational standards.
  • Hold briefings to engage and coordinate the team for the most effective practice operations.

 

Requirements

  • RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse.
  • Experience in delivering exceptional patient and client care.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Experience in supporting nurse consults, understanding their contribution to practice performance and efficiency.
  • Proficient in using coaching and influencing skills to maximise team potential.
