They are looking for a full-time Qualified Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join their friendly, professional team at a small animal practice.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a passionate team known for their love of wildlife. They will contribute to various projects within the practice, including running nurse clinics and supporting surgeries and procedures. The team values celebrating differences and creating a positive work environment.

 

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional care to clients and patients.
  • Support surgeries and procedures, including pre- and post-procedure activities.
  • Conduct nurse-led appointments and Schedule 3 activities.
  • Monitor and care for patients.
  • Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the veterinary team.
  • Complete patient transfers to out-of-hours or enhanced care.
  • Dispense and check medication.
  • Maintain professional excellence, complying with all regulatory, practice, and operational standards.
  • Engage and coordinate the team to support effective practice operations.

 

Requirements

  • RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse.
  • Experience in delivering exceptional patient and client care.
  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Experience in supporting nurse consultations, with an understanding of their impact on practice performance and efficiency.
  • Strong coaching and influencing skills to bring out the best in colleagues.
