The nursing team is encouraged to fulfil their clinical potential, with support for advanced nurse clinics, mentoring, and leadership roles. Opportunities to undertake advanced certificates are also supported.

Responsibilities

  • Admissions and discharges
  • Monitoring operations
  • In-patient care
  • Delivering clinics on weight management, dental care, puppy and kitten care, and diabetes
  • Consulting
  • Measuring blood pressure
  • Blood sampling
  • Supporting vets
  • Pharmacy work
  • Clinical coaching (training provided for supporting regular student placements)

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of practice experience
  • Excellent customer care, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills
  • Computer literate
  • Ability to work under pressure, solve problems, and work independently
  • Self-motivated and hardworking

Hours

Ideally looking for full-time hours but happy to find a pattern that works for both parties. Weekends are on a 1 in 3 Saturday rota basis with limited cover to ensure fairness.
