Job Description
Our client is offering an unmissable opportunity for a Full-Time Experienced Veterinary Nurse to join their close-knit and growing team, with a competitive salary of £30,000 DOE.
You will be joining their team, who qualified from the University of Bristol in 2004 and, with support from their amazing team, opened their practice in November 2018.
About Their Practice:
As a relatively new practice, they are an ISFM Silver award cat-friendly practice, with access to all the latest technology and facilities, and boasting RCVS Small Animal Accreditation, along with an ever-growing and loyal client base. They are a friendly and welcoming small team with 1 full-time Veterinary Nurse, 1 SVN, and 1 VCA. If you are looking for career progression, they can tailor this to suit your needs.
The Role:
They’re seeking a confident, empathetic nurse with good all-round skills and experience. Their ideal candidate would either be a clinical coach already or be interested in undertaking this training and supporting the development of their students.
You’ll be friendly, down-to-earth, have a genuine interest in animal welfare, and be someone who will get on well with the team and their clients. As their practice continues to expand, they are looking for someone who can contribute to driving development and growth alongside them.
Why Choose Them? With the coast and country just a short drive away, they are ideally located so that you can make the most of picturesque surroundings, from national parks to beaches to a wide range of local facilities and quality schools, making it a great place for every age group.
Compensation & Benefits:
In addition to a rewarding role in a superb location, you can also expect to receive:
- Competitive Salary of circa £30,000 DOE
- No out of hours.
- Paid holiday of 28 days, rising to 33 days after 2 years of service.
- Paid professional memberships including RCVS and BVA.
- Dedicated CPD allowance and time off including funding towards certificates.
- Life assurance 4 x annual salary.
- Contributory pension scheme.
- Private health insurance.
- Cycle to work scheme.
- Colleague reward hub – exclusive offers and discounts online and on the high street.
- Free car parking.
- And more!
Their client prioritises team wellbeing, fostering social connections through monthly gatherings, an annual Christmas party, and a charity Dog Show that welcomes the entire team!
