As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, they’ll have the opportunity to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to providing excellent care. They’ll work alongside 5 vets (including a visiting referral orthopaedic vet), 5 qualified nurses, three ACAs, and 2 student nurses, all bringing a variety of experience and knowledge. They’ll contribute to our ongoing success, helping maintain high standards of patient care and client service.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide compassionate nursing care, including placing catheters, taking bloods, and conducting nurse consults.
  • Ensure the well-being of inpatients, conducting regular checks and administering treatments as required.
  • Assist with radiography, fine needle aspirates (FNAs), and schedule 3 procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

 

Requirements:

  • Qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse with RCVS registration.
  • Friendly, hardworking team player with a passion for animal welfare.
  • Competent in all aspects of nursing duties.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
