Our client is a small team seeking to welcome a new Veterinary Nurse to their family-oriented and friendly practice. Their state-of-the-art modern surgery, equipped with cutting-edge facilities such as digital x-ray, ultrasound, and VGels, reflects their commitment to maintaining high clinical standards. As a training practice, their team includes a Senior Vet Nurse, Student Veterinary Nurse, VCA, and a collaborative group of three Veterinary Surgeons, Receptionists, and a Practice Manager. As they continue to grow, they are actively seeking an experienced Student Nurse or Veterinary Nurse to join their dynamic team on a full-time basis. You will engage in diverse first-opinion nurse duties, from anaesthetic monitoring to inpatient care, nurse consults, ordering, and assisting with procedures. With visiting orthopaedic specialists, there’s also an opportunity to engage in specialised cases.
Responsibilities:
- Perform anaesthetic monitoring and inpatient care.
- Conduct nurse consultations and assist with procedures.
- Manage ordering and inventory for the practice.
- Collaborate with visiting orthopaedic specialists on specialised cases.
- Work independently and as part of a team in a busy practice.
Requirements:
- Motivated individual with a positive attitude.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Keen to deliver clinical excellence.
- Experience as a Student Nurse or Veterinary Nurse.
