An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join a friendly and welcoming team at a small animal practice. This practice is situated in a vibrant area with beautiful natural surroundings and excellent amenities.
The successful candidate will join a supportive team consisting of 4 Vets, 1 RVN, 1 VCA, 1 SVN, and a strong team of 6 Receptionists, all led by an experienced Veterinary Surgeon. They will contribute to a diverse range of projects, providing excellent care to dogs, cats, rabbits, and various small animals. The practice is equipped with digital X-rays, a Doppler blood pressure monitor, a full in-house lab, and an ultrasound scanner.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent patient and client care
- Conduct routine health consultations
- Assist in surgical and medical procedures
- Participate in team meetings and CPD sessions
- Handle a variety of cases, including small animals and occasional birds, reptiles, and fish
- Work independently and confidently in sole charge when required
Requirements
- Registered Veterinary Nurse qualification
- Strong general nursing skills
- Ability to work independently and confidently in sole charge

- Enthusiastic and proactive approach to veterinary care
