Our client is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their dedicated team. Located conveniently close to local amenities, green spaces, and public transport routes, the practice is just 10 minutes from the city centre, attracting a variety of interesting cases and a loyal client base.

As an RVN with our client, you will be at the heart of their practice, playing an integral clinical role in patient care. You will join a supportive clinical team of five vets, 2.5 RVNs, and three SVNs, along with a client care team of four receptionists and a practice manager. This role offers the opportunity to utilise all your nursing skills while working in a positive and passionate environment. Whether you are an experienced nurse or a confident newly qualified nurse, you will find this role both challenging and rewarding.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform surgical procedures and consultations.
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to all patients.
  • Support and mentor veterinary nursing students.
  • Maintain and operate the practice’s modern facilities, including x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound machine, in-house lab, and separate dog/cat/isolation wards.
  • Collaborate with the veterinary and client care teams to ensure excellent service.
  • Participate in a flexible rota, including 1 in 4 Saturday morning clinics, with no out-of-hours (OOH) requirements.

 

Requirements:

  • Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) qualification.
  • Experience in a similar role, though confident newly qualified nurses will be considered.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
  • Passion for delivering outstanding patient care and exceptional customer service.
