Our client is seeking a motivated Veterinary Nurse to join their team in a vibrant and busy hospital environment. This role is ideal for someone passionate about operations-based nursing who thrives in a supportive and dynamic setting.

The successful candidate will join a friendly and experienced team, contributing to both surgical and consultative care for patients. Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional care to clients and patients.
  • Assist with surgeries and procedures, including pre- and post-operative care.
  • Conduct nurse-led appointments and perform Schedule 3 activities.
  • Monitor patient care and manage admissions and discharges as directed by the veterinary team.
  • Handle patient transfers to out-of-hours or enhanced care services.
  • Dispense and verify medications.
  • Uphold professional standards, ensuring compliance with all regulatory, practice, and operational guidelines.
  • Lead team briefings to coordinate effective practice operations.

 

Requirements

  • RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse.
  • Experience in delivering high-quality patient and client care.
  • Strong teamwork skills with experience in supporting nurse consultations.
  • Ability to contribute to practice performance and efficiency.
  • Skilled in coaching and influencing colleagues to achieve their best.
