The Opportunity

As the Senior RVN, you will work alongside an experienced veterinary team who take pride in providing high-quality care and building long-lasting client relationships. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth daily running of the practice, supporting colleagues, and maintaining excellent clinical standards. You will also receive ongoing support from a dedicated management team, allowing you to focus on developing your skills and leading with confidence.

Your Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain high standards of clinical care and client service.

• Support the veterinary team with diary management, stock control, and equipment maintenance.

• Mentor and motivate colleagues, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.

• Ensure the efficient day-to-day running of the practice.

• Deliver hands-on nursing care, assisting with consultations, procedures, and inpatient management.

What You’ll Bring

• RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse qualification.

• Proven experience in a small animal practice, ideally with previous senior or leadership duties.

• Strong organisational and communication skills.

• A proactive and team-focused approach to patient and client care.

• A genuine passion for maintaining excellent clinical standards.

The Benefits

• Salary: £34,000–£39,000 (DOE) with opportunities for progression.

• Full-time role (40 hours per week) – flexible 4-day week option available.

• 1 in 4 weekend rotation and 1 bank holiday per year.
