The Opportunity
As the Senior RVN, you will work alongside an experienced veterinary team who take pride in providing high-quality care and building long-lasting client relationships. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth daily running of the practice, supporting colleagues, and maintaining excellent clinical standards. You will also receive ongoing support from a dedicated management team, allowing you to focus on developing your skills and leading with confidence.
Your Responsibilities

Oversee and maintain high standards of clinical care and client service.

Support the veterinary team with diary management, stock control, and equipment maintenance.

Mentor and motivate colleagues, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.

Ensure the efficient day-to-day running of the practice.

Deliver hands-on nursing care, assisting with consultations, procedures, and inpatient management.
What You’ll Bring

RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse qualification.

Proven experience in a small animal practice, ideally with previous senior or leadership duties.

Strong organisational and communication skills.

A proactive and team-focused approach to patient and client care.

A genuine passion for maintaining excellent clinical standards.
The Benefits

Salary: £34,000–£39,000 (DOE) with opportunities for progression.

Full-time role (40 hours per week) – flexible 4-day week option available.

1 in 4 weekend rotation and 1 bank holiday per year.

No on-call requirements.

6.6 weeks of annual leave, including bank holidays.

Annual CPD budget plus up to 2 days’ paid CPD leave.
