The successful candidate will join a well-established veterinary team, contributing to the professional development of graduate veterinarians and ensuring the delivery of exceptional clinical standards. They will work across multiple branches, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, and be part of an ambitious practice with future partnership prospects for the right individual.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a varied caseload, ensuring high clinical standards.
  • Take responsibility for the veterinary team, including absence management.
  • Deliver top-quality clinical standards and client care.
  • Provide hands-on coaching and guidance to veterinarians and nurses, fostering skill development.
  • Conduct audits and assessments of the veterinary team, taking appropriate action when necessary.
  • Offer ongoing support and training on the latest veterinary practices and procedures.
  • Design tailored development plans to help team members grow in their roles.
  • Collaborate with practice management to ensure staff training and support needs are met.

 

Requirements

  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) with full registration from the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
  • Proven experience in mentoring or coaching within a veterinary or similar environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • A keen interest in further developing clinical coaching expertise.
