Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a varied caseload, ensuring high clinical standards.
- Take responsibility for the veterinary team, including absence management.
- Deliver top-quality clinical standards and client care.
- Provide hands-on coaching and guidance to veterinarians and nurses, fostering skill development.
- Conduct audits and assessments of the veterinary team, taking appropriate action when necessary.
- Offer ongoing support and training on the latest veterinary practices and procedures.
- Design tailored development plans to help team members grow in their roles.
- Collaborate with practice management to ensure staff training and support needs are met.
Requirements
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) with full registration from the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
- Proven experience in mentoring or coaching within a veterinary or similar environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- A keen interest in further developing clinical coaching expertise.
