Where independence, growth, and genuine community meet.
Our client is an independent, community-focused veterinary practice with a long-standing reputation for quality care and strong values. They’re looking for an experienced small animal vet to join their friendly, loyal team. This is more than just a job — it’s an opportunity to grow your career, shape your future, and be part of a workplace where your ideas and contributions truly matter.
As part of their supportive and collaborative team, you’ll play a key role in providing excellent care to clients and their pets while helping to drive the next stage of the practice’s growth. You’ll work alongside a stable, highly skilled team — including experienced vets, dedicated RVNs, and a welcoming reception crew — who all value teamwork, learning, and balance.
They offer genuine opportunities for career progression, including share options and a clear route to partnership, for those ready to invest in their long-term future with the practice.
Responsibilities
Your days will be varied, fulfilling, and supported by a team that always has your back. You’ll:
Provide high-quality small animal care and build lasting client relationships.
Manage a diverse first-opinion caseload while developing your clinical interests.
Contribute to a fair and flexible weekend rota, with no night or bank holiday OOH (covered by a local provider).
Support a positive, communicative team culture.
Mentor and guide colleagues if that’s something you enjoy.
You’ll also have the freedom to explore your own clinical passions, whether in surgery, imaging, or medicine — with the option to include occasional equine cases if you wish.
Requirements
They’re looking for someone who:
Has solid small animal practice experience and is confident in general medicine and surgery.
Enjoys working collaboratively in a people-focused environment.
Communicates clearly and compassionately with both clients and colleagues.
Is adaptable, self-motivated, and eager to keep learning.
Holds (or is eligible for) MRCVS registration.
Whether you’re an experienced vet ready for the next step or someone looking for a practice that values balance and growth, you’ll fit right in here.
