Our client is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly, close-knit team of experienced vets and RVNs. They take pride in fostering collaboration, professional growth, and compassionate care.
In this role, you will contribute to a varied caseload, engage in both surgical and consulting work, and have access to advanced facilities and mentorship from certificate holders across multiple disciplines. Responsibilities

Your day-to-day duties will include:

  • Providing excellent clinical and surgical care for small animals

  • Building strong, lasting relationships with clients and their pets

  • Working closely with fellow vets, nurses, and support staff in a team-focused environment

  • Supporting junior team members and sharing knowledge and ideas

  • Participating in a balanced rota designed to promote work–life harmony

  • Engaging in the practice’s community and welfare initiatives

Requirements

  • A qualified Veterinary Surgeon (RCVS-registered)

  • Ideally experienced and have completed your VetGDP

  • Salary: £40,000–£60,000 (commensurate with experience)

  • Rota: Four days per week (8:30 am–6:00 pm), one night per week until 10 pm, one weekend in five (7 am–10 pm), with no overnight on-call
