They are expanding with a brand-new Hospital and Rehab Centre and are looking for a motivated, people-focused vet to join their thriving team. As part of their team, you’ll:

  • Work in a hospital featuring fully equipped theatres, a dental suite, and advanced imaging facilities including DR X-ray, Doppler ultrasound, and endoscopy.

  • Access a dedicated Rehab Centre with hydrotherapy, an underwater treadmill, and physiotherapy facilities.

  • Support pets through post-operative recovery, chronic pain management, and mobility issues—all under one roof.

  • Contribute to the practice’s continued growth, helping to shape innovative approaches to patient care and team development.

Responsibilities
You will:

  • Provide high-quality veterinary care across a varied caseload.

  • Perform routine surgical procedures, with support available for more complex cases.

  • Work collaboratively with vets, nurses, and support staff to deliver exceptional patient care.

  • Participate in professional development, mentoring, and team case discussions.

  • Contribute to maintaining the practice’s high standards, supporting Fear-Free accreditation and patient wellbeing.

  • Embrace a culture of trust, respect, and continuous improvement.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:

  • Full veterinary qualifications and RCVS registration.

  • Experience in small animal practice, with confidence in routine surgical procedures.

  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

  • Enthusiasm for learning and developing skills, with opportunities to pursue certificates supported by the practice.

  • Compassion, resilience, and dedication to delivering excellent patient care.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary of £40,000–£80,000 depending on experience.

  • 5.6 weeks’ holiday, including bank holidays.

  • Flexible 4-day working week (8.30–6.30) with a mix of consultations and surgery.
