This role offers the opportunity to become part of a large, experienced small animal team with a varied and engaging caseload. You will work alongside certificate holders and senior clinicians, contributing to both routine and complex medical and surgical cases. Whether you are keen to broaden your skills or develop a particular clinical interest, Our client will support your development through mentoring, investment in equipment, and funded CPD to help you progress your career.

Responsibilities

As a Small Animal Vet, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-quality clinical care and excellent client communication

  • Managing medical and surgical cases, including more complex procedures in-house

  • Working collaboratively within a supportive veterinary and nursing team

  • Participating in consultations, diagnostics, surgery, and case work-ups

  • Maintaining accurate clinical records and professional standards

  • Sharing in a fair weekend rota, with no out-of-hours work

Requirements

Our client is looking for someone who:

  • Is a qualified MRCVS small animal veterinary surgeon

  • Has some post-graduate experience in small animal practice

  • Is enthusiastic about learning and professional development

  • Enjoys working as part of a collaborative and supportive team

  • Values clinical quality, communication, and continuous improvement
