The successful candidate will join a diverse, experienced team of veterinary professionals, working collaboratively across a multi-centre group that offers 24-hour patient care. You’ll have access to some of the best equipment and facilities available, and be involved in exciting projects supporting everything from routine care to complex soft tissue and orthopaedic procedures. This role also offers the chance to contribute to mentoring newer vets, shaping a culture of learning and support.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality veterinary care, working up and following through on your cases
- Contribute to team discussions, clinical rounds, and shared learning sessions
- Support junior team members through mentoring and guidance
- Utilise state-of-the-art equipment including CT, endoscopy, ultrasound with cardiac capabilities, digital and dental X-ray, and more
- Participate in regular CPD and training opportunities
- Maintain detailed clinical records and support evidence-based practice
- Promote a positive team culture and contribute to team wellbeing initiatives
- Optional involvement in charity and social events
Requirements
- MRCVS-qualified with some post-graduate experience
- Strong communication and teamworking skills
- A supportive and proactive attitude
- Commitment to ongoing development and learning
- Interest in mentoring or supporting junior vets (for senior applicants)
- Comfortable working in a busy, collaborative hospital environment

- Salary between £45,000 – £70,000, depending on experience
- 6.6 weeks’ annual leave including bank holidays
- CPD allowance of £1,750 plus 5 days, with certificate support and funding
