The successful candidate will work alongside a highly experienced Branch Partner and lead a team of Patient Care Assistants. They will contribute to a range of surgical procedures, including laparoscopic surgery, and benefit from a supportive team environment. Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional care to clients and patients.
  • Assist with surgeries and procedures, handling all pre- and post-procedure activities.
  • Conduct nurse-led appointments and schedule activities.
  • Monitor and care for patients effectively.
  • Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the veterinary team.
  • Facilitate patient transfers to out-of-hours or enhanced care as needed.
  • Dispense and check medications.
  • Uphold the highest standards of regulatory, practice, and operational compliance.
  • Lead briefings and coordinate the team to ensure smooth practice operations.

 

Requirements

  • RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.
  • Proven experience in delivering excellent patient and client care.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and demonstrate clinical leadership.
  • Experience in supporting nurse consultations and understanding their impact on practice performance.
  • Strong coaching and influencing skills to enhance team performance.
