Job Description

Our Client is excited to offer an opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. The practice is experiencing growth, and they are looking for a dedicated individual to become part of their close-knit team.

Objectives: The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week, with the flexibility of part-time hours also being considered. They will join a team of professionals led by their JVP, who brings extensive experience and leadership to the practice. The team operates within the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme for Small Animal General Practice and enjoys a diverse and interesting caseload. The successful candidate will work on a set rota, including 1 in 3 Saturdays from 9am to 1pm, with out-of-hours coverage managed by Vets Now.

Responsibilities:

• Perform surgical and medical procedures with precision and care
• Work effectively in a sole charge capacity when required
• Provide excellent client communication and service
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for their patients
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards

Requirements:

• Veterinary Surgeon qualification
• Demonstrated surgical and medical proficiency
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong communication skills and client-focused approach
• Enthusiasm, energy, and a passion for providing high-quality veterinary care
