Job Description
Our client, a leading veterinary care provider with practices across the UK and a growing international presence, is currently seeking a Veterinary Surgeon. The successful candidate will work alongside a skilled and experienced team, including a new Branch Partner and a Certificate Holder, in a recently refurbished facility equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic tools. They will have the opportunity to contribute to a variety of projects, including clinical examinations and surgeries, while fostering a culture of trust, compassion, and progressiveness. Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional clinical care to patients during consultations and procedures.
- Provide clear and compassionate communication with clients, offering updates on patient status.
- Maintain high standards of regulatory, practice, and operational compliance.
- Prepare tailored treatment and care plans, including accurate cost estimates.
- Mentor and develop team members, enhancing their skills and ensuring effective use of talents.
- Manage clinical handovers and arrange patient transfers for out-of-hours or enhanced care.
- Share and support best clinical practices within and across practices and the wider community.
Requirements
- RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon.
- Proven experience in delivering exceptional care to patients and clients.
- Strong teamwork skills, with experience in working effectively within a team.
- Demonstrated clinical leadership abilities.
- Experience in fostering a progressive clinical culture.
- Understanding of the importance of nurse consultations and Schedule 3 procedures in clinic performance and efficiency.
- Proficient in coaching and influencing colleagues to achieve optimal results.
