Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality clinical care during consultations and procedures.
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients, offering updates on patient care.
  • Maintain professional excellence by adhering to regulatory, practice, and operational standards.
  • Develop tailored treatment and care plans for patients, including accurate cost estimates.
  • Mentor and support the team, enhancing their skills and ensuring effective collaboration.
  • Manage clinical handovers and coordinate transfers for patients requiring out-of-hours or specialised care.
  • Share and promote clinical best practices within the team and the broader community.

 

Requirements

  • Registered Veterinary Surgeon with the RCVS.
  • Proven experience in delivering exceptional care to both patients and clients.
  • Strong team collaboration skills and experience in clinical leadership.
  • Ability to foster a progressive clinical culture and support nurse-led consults.
  • Skilled in coaching and mentoring colleagues to enhance team performance.
