Our client, a leading veterinary care provider, is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional clinical care during consultations and procedures.
  • Provide clear and compassionate communication with clients, ensuring they are well-informed about their pets’ care.
  • Maintain the highest standards of regulatory, practice, and operational compliance.
  • Prepare accurate and tailored treatment and care plans with clear cost estimates.
  • Mentor and develop team members, enhancing their skills and utilising them effectively.
  • Complete clinical handovers and arrange transfers for patients requiring out-of-hours or enhanced care.
  • Support and share clinical best practices within the team and the wider veterinary community.

 

Requirements:

  • MRCVS qualification and registration as a Veterinary Surgeon.
  • Experience in small animal practice, with competence in clinical examination and surgery.
  • Strong communication skills with a client-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Experience in supporting nurse consultations and Schedule 3 procedures.
  • Clinical leadership skills and a commitment to implementing a progressive clinical culture.
  • A desire to continuously develop skills and share knowledge within the team.
