This is an exciting opportunity to join a passionate and close-knit team that values independence and high standards of care. The successful candidate will work closely with a fantastic nursing team comprising four RVNs, one SVN, and one experienced VCA, as well as three exceptional receptionists and a supportive Practice Manager. The role offers the chance to engage in a variety of projects, including developing personalised care plans and contributing to the practice’s ongoing success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality veterinary care, carrying out consultations and surgeries to meet or exceed client expectations.
- Communicate effectively with clients, ensuring a clear understanding of their needs and maintaining the practice’s low complaint rate.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold the practice’s excellent reputation and enhance the client experience.
- Utilise and contribute to the non-clinical Quiet Room for sensitive appointments, such as euthanasia, ensuring clients feel comfortable and supported.
- Actively participate in practice development, including sharing patient photos with the community and fostering a welcoming environment.
Requirements:
- MRCVS status
- At least one year of experience in private practice, with competence in both consultations and surgeries
- Ability to perform solo bitch spays (additional surgical experience is welcomed)
- Enthusiasm for joining a successful and supportive team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
