Veterinary Surgeon

The centre is renowned for its advanced minimally invasive surgical techniques, and they are eager to build on their strong surgical foundations by welcoming a certificate holder—ideally with a Medicine or ECC certificate, though they welcome all interested candidates. Objectives
As a new member of their team, you will have the chance to work in a state-of-the-art clinic featuring a large prep area, imaging suite, and specialised wards. You will contribute to ongoing projects and have the clinical freedom to pursue your interests. Enjoy a balanced lifestyle with easy access to both city and rural options.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding clinical care during consultations and procedures.
• Offer clear updates and exceptional service to clients.
• Maintain high standards of regulatory, practice, and operational compliance.
• Develop tailored treatment and care plans with accurate cost estimates.
• Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and effectiveness.
• Complete clinical handovers and manage patient transfers for out-of-hours or enhanced care.
• Support and share clinical best practices within the broader veterinary community.

Requirements

• RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon.
• Proven experience in delivering exceptional patient and client care.
• Strong team collaboration and clinical leadership skills.
• Experience in fostering a progressive clinical culture.
• Ability to support nurse consultations and Schedule 3 procedures, understanding their impact on clinic performance.
• Effective coaching and influencing skills.
