Veterinary Surgeon

The successful candidate will join a dedicated team of veterinary professionals and contribute to the continued growth of the practice. Whether they are an experienced vet ready to mentor and lead a team, or a new graduate taking their first career steps, there are opportunities to collaborate on exciting projects that align with their career aspirations. The practice is committed to supporting professional development, including CPD and certificate opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality veterinary care in a well-equipped, locally run practice.
• Support the growth and development of both the practice and team members.
• Contribute to the practice’s excellent client and patient care standards.
• Participate in a flexible rota designed to promote work-life balance.
• Mentor junior staff members if experienced.
• Take on consult-only roles if preferred.

Requirements

• Veterinary qualifications (RCVS membership or equivalent).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility and a passion for animal care.
• Open to both experienced vets and new graduates, as well as nurses, student nurses, and those interested in veterinary care assistant or client care assistant positions.
• Willingness to pursue CPD and certificate opportunities.
