Job Description

The Opportunity
The successful candidate will join a busy and well-regarded first opinion practice, working alongside an experienced senior vet and supported by a dedicated clinical team. With access to a nearby 24-hour hospital for more complex cases and out-of-hours support, the environment is well suited for developing both GP and ECC skills, while receiving excellent mentorship.
Key Responsibilities
- 40-hour working week
- 1:4 Saturday rotation at the branch, and 1:8 Sunday rotation at the hospital
- Up to 2 bank holidays per year worked at the hospital site
- Performing routine surgeries and dental procedures
- Providing high-quality first opinion care to clients and their pets
- Collaborating with a team of vets, RVNs, and trainee nurses
- Engaging in continuous learning and professional development
Candidate Requirements
- RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon
- Confident with routine surgeries and first opinion work
- Strong communication skills with a passion for client and patient care
- A team player with a proactive and positive attitude
- Committed to ongoing development and clinical learning
