Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality clinical care during consultations and surgical procedures.
  • Communicate clearly and empathetically with clients regarding patient care and treatment plans.
  • Prepare tailored treatment plans with accurate cost estimates.
  • Uphold professional and regulatory standards at all times.
  • Support and mentor colleagues, helping to develop skills across the team.
  • Complete clinical handovers and coordinate any necessary out-of-hours or specialist care.
  • Share best practice within the clinic and the wider professional community.

Requirements

  • RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon with experience in small animal practice.
  • Strong clinical examination and surgical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach.
  • Willingness to support nurse consultations and Schedule 3 procedures.
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities.
  • Suitable for both new graduates eager to learn and more experienced vets seeking growth.
