Job Description

The successful candidate will join a team of experienced vets and contribute to a wide range of cases including advanced surgery such as laparoscopic procedures and orthopaedics. Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality clinical care during consultations and surgical procedures.
- Communicate clearly and empathetically with clients regarding patient care and treatment plans.
- Prepare tailored treatment plans with accurate cost estimates.
- Uphold professional and regulatory standards at all times.
- Support and mentor colleagues, helping to develop skills across the team.
- Complete clinical handovers and coordinate any necessary out-of-hours or specialist care.
- Share best practice within the clinic and the wider professional community.
Requirements
- RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon with experience in small animal practice.
- Strong clinical examination and surgical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach.
- Willingness to support nurse consultations and Schedule 3 procedures.
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities.
- Suitable for both new graduates eager to learn and more experienced vets seeking growth.
