Job Description

Our client is recruiting for a personable and confident veterinary surgeon to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a close-knit, friendly team dedicated to providing high-quality veterinary care.

The successful candidate will join a team consisting of 2 full-time Vets, 5 RVNs, 1 Veterinary Care Assistant, and 2 Client Care Advisors. The team has a variety of interests, including soft tissue surgery and internal medicine. You will have the opportunity to work on diverse cases and contribute to the overall growth and development of the practice. Our client supports individual areas of interest, making this an ideal environment for professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine surgeries and medical procedures.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with patients, clients, team members, and the local community.
  • Provide high-quality veterinary care and advice.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of clinical standards and protocols.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and training.

 

Requirements

  • Qualified Veterinary Surgeon.
  • Confident in all routine surgeries.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients, patients, and team members.
  • Enthusiastic about professional growth and development.

This role can be full or part-time (minimum 20 hours per week), with a 4-day week from 9 am – 7 pm and working 1 in 3 Saturdays from 9 am – 5 pm. There is no OOH requirement, ensuring a great work/life balance.
