Job Description:

Our client is currently seeking a full-time or part-time Veterinary Surgeon with a minimum of 1 year of experience to join their team.

About Their Practice:

They operate as a RCVS PSS Accredited, standalone small animal practice situated in Airdrie, Scotland. Established in 2012, they boast a sizable and devoted client base. The clinic encounters a diverse range of intriguing cases. Their amiable team comprises 3 Vets, 4 Nurses, 1 SVN, and 5 Client Care Advisors. Additionally, they have access to a visiting orthopaedic surgeon when necessary. Fostered by a tight-knit camaraderie, the team enjoys socializing beyond the confines of work, even convening a monthly book club. They prioritize collaboration, punctuating their schedule with breaks for case discussions and mutual support. Regular practice and clinical meetings are held to maintain cohesion. Emphasizing a healthy work-life balance, they allocate 20 minutes for non-routine consultations, provide ‘catch-up time’ post-appointments, facilitate twice-daily well-being breaks, and offer protected administrative time. Consultations conclude 30 minutes before closing time to ensure punctual departures. The clinic compensates for overtime or provides time in lieu for late departures. Notably, their proficient nursing team schedules three procedures, alleviating stress for their veterinary surgeons.
