Job Description

If you are an enthusiastic vet looking to join a supportive and established team, then Our client has the role for you at their veterinary practice!

You’ll be joining a welcoming team consisting of 2 vets, 4 RVNs, 1 SVN, 1 VCA, and 6 receptionists, all dedicated to providing outstanding care to our clients and outstanding support to each other.

The team is led by an experienced practice owner and veterinary surgeon, who holds a GP certificate in Small Animal Practice and one in Small Animal Surgery. They once won the ‘Boss of the Year’ award and were one of 3 finalists in last year’s ‘New Graduate Mentorship Award’.

And if you’re looking for the next step in your career, this is a great opportunity to work alongside an experienced practice owner and veterinary surgeon, and to learn the skills required to become a practice owner yourself if desired.

About Their Practice:

The practice itself is based in a standalone building, built to industry-leading standards and has state-of-the-art equipment including digital x-ray, in-house lab, ultrasound with Doppler, tonovet, blood-pressure machine, multiparameter monitors, and ECG, so you’ll have the opportunity to grow as a vet and deliver the highest standard of care to all patients. The practice also has 4 consult rooms, 1 operating theatre, 1 imaging room, and separate cat and dog wards.

They’re proud to be an RCVS Accredited practice and of being a Cat Friendly Clinic, with a Silver ISFM status.

They want to help you find your best work-life balance so even though they’re looking for a full-time vet, they’re also very open to talking about more flexible hours to find a rota that works for you.

About you:

They are ideally looking for an experienced vet, confident with all routine consults and surgery, but if you are an ambitious and enthusiastic new graduate, then they’d love to hear from you too as they can offer you the support you need to thrive!

This position has a weekend rota of 1:3 Saturdays, no OOH and just occasional sole charge.

Benefits:

They can also offer you an excellent remuneration package including:

  • Competitive salary up to £65k
  • 28 days annual leave including bank holidays
  • Potential Partner Opportunities
  • Generous CPD allowance up to Certificate level, with 5 days CPD leave
  • Paid Professional Memberships (RCVS, VDS, and BVA)
  • Relocation Package
  • Fully Funded Visa and Sponsorship
  • Contributory Pension Scheme
  • Death in Service – 4 x Annual Salary
  • Exclusive company discounts and rewards

So, if you have an ambition to be part of the future, please apply.
