About Their Practice:
They are a gold ISFM practice and a silver RWAF practice. They have been awarded an ACE award (Aspiring Clinical Excellence) from Vets for Pets as well. Their team includes exotic certificate holders, and they handle a diverse case load. They also incorporate acupuncture into their practice and maintain a fear-free environment.
As a Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll be at the heart of their practice. They genuinely care for their staff; their wellbeing is their priority. Last year, they hired a personal trainer for the entire team, which was immensely enjoyable! They are always exploring innovative ways to support their staff’s wellbeing and cultivate a relaxed atmosphere, so they welcome new ideas.
Their location is excellent; they are only 20 minutes away from major city centres and close enough to enjoy the outdoors of the Peak District. There are plenty of options for retail therapy, and transportation links are conveniently accessible.
They enjoy organizing various social activities, whether it’s dining out one week or swimming in lakes the next! They also attend CPD events together, which often includes a shopping trip!
About you:
- As an experienced Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll play a vital role in their practice.
- A passion for small animal general practice drives you.
- Enjoys working up interesting cases, which is a hallmark of your career.
- Providing pet care advice to owners during preventative healthcare appointments is second nature to you.
- A good team member who collaborates effectively with other vets and veterinary nurses.
- Certificate funding will be considered.
- Full-time and part-time hours will be considered.
- For full-time hours, the schedule would be 9am – 6pm, four days a week, with one day off per week, and 1 in 3 Saturday mornings from 9am – 12pm. The team collaborates to ensure they finish on time, and little overtime is required (any overtime is compensated).
