PART-TIME to FULL-TIME VET (25 – 40HRS)

Our client has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced full-time Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. If you are enthusiastic, hard-working, and keen to be part of a friendly and supportive team, then they would love to meet you!

The full-time role involves working 39.25 hours per week over 4 fixed days each week, with 1:4 weekends, Saturday 9-6 and Sunday 10-4, no OOH. The part-time role would be an adapted version, still including 1:4 weekends.

About Their Practice:

Their practice has been completely refurbished and is equipped with the latest technology. They have an impressive 9 consulting rooms, 3 operating theatres, and various on-site laboratory testing facilities. They have a brilliant team of Veterinary Surgeons, Registered Veterinary Nurses, Student Veterinary Nurses, Animal Care Assistants, and Client Care Advisors. They are a training practice where they support and mentor new Vet Graduates through the Graduate programme as well as sponsoring and providing ongoing training for their SVN’s until qualified.

Applicant Requirements:

They seek individuals who possess excellent communication skills, are adept team players, compassionate and caring, ambitious and enthusiastic, promoters and keen participants of continuous development, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Very competitive Salary depending on experience – (range: £40-£60K DOE)
  • 5.5 weeks paid holiday not including bank holidays

  • 30 minutes of case/CPD discussion every weekday for Veterinary Surgeons – allocated in diary

  • Overtime paid or available as TOIL, same situation with any encroachment of lunch breaks
  • Shared late vet rota for last-minute emergency cases
  • Varied weekly workload – comprising of 2 x consulting days/1 x Ops day/1 x Duty Vet
  • No sole charge required, experienced team of Veterinary Surgeons/nurses available for case support
