This role offers a fantastic opportunity to join a large, multi-disciplinary team of specialists, residents, interns, nurses, and patient care assistants. As part of the Wards team, you will play a key role in providing exceptional inpatient care while working closely with colleagues across all departments.
You will encounter a wide range of referral and emergency cases, giving you exposure to multiple disciplines and valuable hands-on experience. With full training and support provided, you will have the opportunity to enhance your clinical skills, contribute to service development, and play an active role in shaping procedures for a growing hospital.
Responsibilities
As a Wards RVN, your day-to-day duties will include:

Delivering high-quality inpatient care and ensuring all patients receive timely, compassionate treatment

Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with clinicians and consultants

Carrying out case handovers and maintaining clear communication across all disciplines
-
Monitoring and supporting patients throughout their hospital stay, including recovery and emergency care
-
Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure continuity of care and excellent patient outcomes

Participating in the weekend and shift rota, with time off in lieu provided
Requirements
Our client would love to hear from you if you are:

A Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with at least one year of post-qualification experience

Confident communicating effectively with colleagues and clients

Highly motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team

Dedicated to providing the best possible care for patients and supporting the wider clinical team

Keen to learn, grow, and develop within a specialist referral setting
You must also:

Have proof of your right to work in the UK
-
Possess excellent written and spoken English
-
Maintain a professional, caring, and compassionate approach at all times
Previous referral experience is not essential, as full training will be provided.
